SnapSong Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AI Music Maker: SnapSong ("SnapSong" or "the app"), published by TrueTapp Mobile Apps Ltda ("TrueTapp", "we", "us"). Please read them carefully. The Privacy Policy explains how the app handles your data and is part of this agreement.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing or using SnapSong, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, do not use the app. We may update these Terms from time to time; if you keep using SnapSong after an update takes effect, that continued use means you accept the revised Terms.

2. What SnapSong does

SnapSong creates original AI-generated songs from photos you choose. When you start a generation, the app uses OpenAI vision and language models to analyze the image and produce the creative inputs for the song, including the lyrics, and uses Suno audio synthesis to compose the final track. Generating a song requires an active internet connection. The songs you create are stored on your device.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SnapSong. If you are under 18, you may only use the app with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and that parent or guardian assumes responsibility for your use of the app and for your compliance with these Terms.

4. Your photos

You keep full ownership of every photo you provide to SnapSong. Nothing in these Terms transfers any right in your photos to TrueTapp. In return, you are responsible for making sure you have the right to use the photos you submit, including permission from any identifiable people who appear in them and any rights held by third parties.

5. Generated songs and how you may use them

On the free tier, TrueTapp grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the songs SnapSong generates for you. This license covers personal, non-commercial use: listening, sharing with friends and family, and similar private purposes.

If you have an active SnapSong Pro subscription, you may also use the songs generated for you for commercial purposes, such as content for social media. This broader permission is subject to your subscription remaining active.

6. Content restrictions

You agree not to use SnapSong to create, request or distribute content that is illegal, harmful, defamatory, infringing on the rights of others, misleading, impersonating another person, spam or malicious in any way.

7. Subscriptions and payments

SnapSong is free to download and try. SnapSong Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription that unlocks additional features.

Billing through the App Store

All purchases and subscriptions are billed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's own terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and no partial refunds are given for unused time.

Prices

Prices are shown in the App Store before you subscribe. They may vary by region and may change over time; when prices change, you will be given notice.

8. Intellectual property

The app itself, including its design, code and branding, belongs to TrueTapp Mobile Apps Ltda. These Terms grant you a limited license to use the app; they do not allow you to copy or modify the app, or to create derivative works from any part of it.

9. Prohibited uses

You may not: reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source code of the app; circumvent usage limits or access controls; access the service through automated means; interfere with or disrupt the operation of the app or the services behind it; remove or alter any proprietary notices; or redistribute the app or any part of it.

10. Disclaimers

SnapSong is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. AI-generated content may not always be accurate, appropriate or musically satisfying, and results vary from photo to photo. The service relies on third-party providers (OpenAI and Suno), and their downtime or failures are outside TrueTapp's control. Song generation requires a stable internet connection. The app is designed for iOS 18.0 or later, and compatibility is not guaranteed on all devices.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrueTapp's total liability arising out of or related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for SnapSong in the 12 months before the claim, or zero if you have paid nothing. TrueTapp is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

12. Termination

TrueTapp may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these Terms. You may stop using SnapSong at any time by uninstalling the app.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute arising from them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Brazilian courts.

14. Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms as the app evolves. The current version, with its effective date, is always published on this page. Continued use of the app after an update takes effect means you accept the new Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full force and effect.

16. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and TrueTapp regarding SnapSong and replace any prior understanding.
